We decided to have a specialty drink for this party. We created a White Chocolate Eggnog Martini and it was delicious!! I always like to try unusual drinks and cocktails during the holidays to stray away from my normal wine or vodka. It was made with white chocolate liqueur, eggnog, white rum, grated white chocolate and garnished with pumpkin spice and whipped cream. Yummy!!!
The decor was kept festive with a snow flake wrapping paper backdrop, white tulle skirt lined with blue holiday ribbon and sparkly silver decorative bows. I thought our little blue Charlie Brown Christmas Tree was so cute and was the perfect centerpiece for our dessert table.
Now for the desserts!! Some were store brought such as the powdered donuts and white chocolate covered pretzels. But the rest were homemade like this beautiful Five Flavor Pound Cake.... ohhh man this was soooo good and I was so happy I used this day for my 1 free day this week ! The cheesecake bites were yummy and you could not just eat one of those cute little red velvet treats! I plan to have a few holiday guest post and the creators of these delicious treats will post and share their recipes with you guys!
We did have food or appetizers at this event but I decided to share those picture and recipes in a separate post. If you are interested in joining my holiday recipe guest post just shoot me an email and I will be happy to feature your recipe.
I had such a fun time helping plan for this event. I have to say we did an awesome job and should really look into doing this more often! I loved how we stuck through the theme throughout and everything really fell into place. Beautiful pics1! You want my cheesecake recipe, I have to admit its a secret (nah, just playing) would be happy to share :)
